Kleer Lumber Stands Tall at Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards
Building Product Company Honored as Nominee for Economic Development Award in Massachusetts
WESTFIELD, MA, November 22, 2005 – Kleer Lumber, LLC, an industry-leading manufacturer of free foam cellular PVC building products, proudly announces its nomination for a 2005 Economic Impact Award. Located in Westfield, Massachusetts, Kleer Lumber was one of three nominees from the western region of the state. The second annual awards are sponsored by the Massachusetts Alliance for Economic Development (MAED).
The award program recognizes organizations that have made a positive impact on the economy of Massachusetts through direct job creation, financial investment and community involvement.
Kleer Lumber, whose operations began in earnest in December 2004, was the only start-up company honored with a nomination as well as the only company nominated without a formal venture capital investment.

For our start-up company, the award ceremony was the equivalent of being the only independent film nominee at the Oscars.”
