Kleer Lumber was founded in 2003 in Westfield, MA and introduced its first products to the market in early 2005: quickly gaining a reputation for producing the highest quality free foam PVC trim products available to dealers and contractors.

Prior to entering the market in 2005, Kleer Lumber surveyed building professionals and homeowners to find out what they wanted in a PVC trim product and to understand their expectations. Based on that research, Kleer spent almost two years developing the process required to manufacture the next generation of Cellular PVC Trimboards. Kleer^® cellular PVC trim products are truly engineered to exceed the expectations of professional builders, contractors, dealers, architects and homeowners.

In 2009 Kleer Lumber began incorporating pre-consumer recycled material in its production process and became the only cellular PVC trim and sheet manufacturer to receive third party recycled content certification. All Kleer cellular PVC trim products are currently certified to contain a minimum 18% pre-consumer recycled content. Kleer Lumber has also partnered with JSS recycling to create the first job-site recycling program that would allow contractors to recycle their scrap pieces instead of sending them to the landfill.

Also in 2009, Kleer Lumber introduced the KleerSnap Post Wrap system, revolutionizing the way exterior wood posts are finished. Designed as a single piece wrap, KleerSnap Post Wraps are easily installed by one person in a fast and economical way.

In 2010 Kleer Lumber started extruding its own line of moulding profiles in the Westfield, MA plant. Manufactured with a similar color and sheen as Kleer trimboards and sheets, these mouldings are the perfect complement for any job whether it is painted or not.

In 2011 Kleer Lumber partnered with Palram Americas to introduce Kleer Decking^®; the ultimate ultra-low maintenance decking product that is truly engineered to last a lifetime. Manufactured with a fully encapsulated 100% cellular PVC core, Kleer Decking is lighter than most wood-plastic composite decks and is extremely durable. The Coastal Series has a transferrable Limited Lifetime Residential warranty that includes labor for the first two years and a 25-Year Limited Residential Stain warranty. The Sierra Series has a transferrable Limited Lifetime Residential warranty that includes labor for the first two years and a 25-Year Limited Residential Stain & Fade warranty.
