KLEER STRUCTURAL SEALANT

DESCRIPTION: Kleer Cellular PVC Structural Sealant is a high performance, resilient, flexible structural sealant that forms a durable, non-shrinking bond when used with Kleer cellular PVC trim products.  It is a paintable, fast-curing, non-sag sealant that will not crack, peel, shrink or stain. Conforms to ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 50, Use NT, M, A, G and O.

FEATURES:

• Solvent free, 100% solids formula will not shrink so it is ideal for filling nail holes

• Class 50 sealant; 100% total joint movement for excellent performance in filling expansion gaps

• UV inhibitors resist yellowing and fading

• Non-slump formula can be applied vertically and overhead

• Won’t run if rained upon

• 30 minute skin-over reduces dirt pick-up.  Can be painted in 1-2 hours with any 100% acrylic house paint

DIRECTIONS: Use rubbing alcohol to remove dust, dirt, frost and other contamination from Kleer cellular PVC trim products. Do not clean with petroleum solvents such as mineral spirits. It is recommended that a quality caulking gun be used to ensure ease of application. Cut tip at a 45-degree angle to approximately the size of the joint opening and puncture the foil inner seal. Gun a continuous bead into the seam or expansion gap, or completely fill nail holes. Finish promptly with a damp metal tool. Kleer Cellular PVC Structural Sealant skins over in 30 minutes, but may remain tacky for several days. 100% acrylic paint may be applied in 1-2 hours, even if the sealant is still tacky. Apply above 30° F. Clean tools and hands with rubbing alcohol.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Avoid prolonged contact with the skin.

• Uncured sealant irritates eyes.  In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush with water and call a physician.
