Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products are manufactured from expanded cellular PVC that is superior to wood in virtually any non load bearing exterior application. It has been developed with a small-cell micro structure and with a density similar to white pine. Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products have a unique and unparalleled range of physical properties, with a texture and uniformity that make them the next generation of exterior trim products. Kleer® provides the look and feel of wood, but addresses most of the common problems associated with exterior applications of wood.

Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products are highly resistant to moisture, rot, mildew, cupping, splitting, delamination, or warping; as well as insects, including termites and carpenter ants.

Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products can be applied in direct contact with masonry, concrete, ground, or other potentially wet surfaces and are ideal for high humidity areas or salt and fresh water environments.

The superior durability of Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products is derived from the fact that it is impervious to moisture. Most common problems with wood in exterior applications result from moisture being absorbed. This leads to paint blistering, cracking, peeling, and the decay of the wood itself.

Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products do not require painting to maintain their superior resistance to weather. They will retain their white color and shape regardless of the application, and will not mildew or rot. If desired, Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products can be painted using recommended paints for a fabulous finish that will last for years. (Some Paint Manufacturers will warranty their product on Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products for up to 20 years.)

Another advantage of Kleer® brand cellular PVC is that it shapes, mills, bends, and machines much easier than wood. Traditional woodworking equipment is used to achieve practically any finished fabricated assembly you can imagine. Additionally, a wide range of assembly techniques, such as power nailing, stapling, and gluing can be utilized. Kleer® brand cellular PVC is uniform throughout, with no core voids, grain or knots to worry about.

Kleer Lumber offers innovative KLEERPak® packaging for our trimboard products. Completely shrink wrapped in a protective film, Kleer® brand cellular PVC trimboards arrive better protected than other trimboards might.

For exterior trim applications such as fascias, soffits, rakes, frieze, and cornerboards, Kleer® cellular PVC is the answer. Environmental Statement
Kleer Lumber was founded in Westfield Massachussets in 2003. One of our goals was to become an environmentally friendly manufacturer of high quality exterior trim products. The initial design of our manufacturing facility included equipment and processes that would allow us to recapture all waste generated by manufacturing process. All unusable material created from starting up or shutting down equipment or from transitioning from one product to another, as well as material trimmed off during production are processed and introduced back into the manufacturing operation. Additionally, all sawdust generated from our cutting and milling operations is also reintroduced into the production process.

Not being satisfied with recycling only our own internally generated waste, Kleer Lumber also developed programs with outside vendors and customers who perform mill work with Kleer® brand cellular PVC trim products, to return their waste for reprocessing. We are also developing programs with lumber dealers and contractors to collect unused pieces of Kleer® cellular PVC trim products from job sites to be returned to Kleer Lumber's manufacturing plant for reprocessing.

Kleer Lumber’s environmentally friendly approach does not stop with our own products either. We have developed recycling programs with raw material suppliers to recycle the containers and bags that their products are delivered in and we work with local recycling companies to recycle other items such as cardboard and wooden pallets.
